From an early age, storytelling and creativity became a refuge for Stephen. Diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at age ten, along with OCD and ADHD, he also struggled with a significant stutter. Art provided a haven, free from external judgment, eventually leading to a deep love for science fiction and fantasy, both in books and on screen.

Art provided a haven, free from external judgment, eventually leading to a deep love for science fiction and fantasy, both in books and on screen.
After meeting his wife in Bible college in the Chicagoland area, he went on to teach classes there for five years. During this time, he discovered his passion for writing. Now, he dedicates himself to crafting immersive fantasy stories whenever he’s not working or spending time with his wife and two precious daughters.
His debut novel, Silver Steps, features a protagonist with ADHD, drawing from personal experiences to bring authenticity and depth to the character. Future works will continue to explore themes inspired by his own journey.
